Costume design is a different discipline than image strategy, but it comes from the same place: the belief that what a person wears should never be arbitrary. On set, that means building a wardrobe that serves character and story before it serves aesthetics alone.
Shakaylah served as Costume Designer on the short film LIFE, shot in Oakland and Hayward, building the full costume bible, cast wardrobe communication, and fitting process from the ground up.
